TouchStone Farms is a small, family-owned and operated, organic farm set in the pastoral New Concord hills of Eastern Connecticut which specializes in growing garlic - nature's most revered herb. Each fall we offer several varieties of hardnecks, softnecks and porcelains that are ideal for both table use and seedstock. If you are seeking full-flavored porcelains and hot and spicy rocamboles for roasting or preparing your favorite dish, decorative braids for your kitchen, a tasteful gift basket of gourmet garlics for that special friend, or proven seedstocks to plant in your garden, we can meet your needs. At TouchStone Farms, we strive to produce the finest garlic possible. Our production methods rely solely upon the use of natural fertilizers and soil amendments, and we employ cultural techniques to preclude the use of chemical pesticides. We value our customers, as well as our environment, and desire each to remain healthy for many generations. After completing the harvest in July, we will post a listing of available varieties for 2002. We are open to the public by appointment only, from mid-August through December, and service the majority of our clients via mail-order.
